The 37th convocation is coming up, and IGNOU has started online registration for students who completed their programs in the last sessions. Important instructions for the 37th IGNOU convocation:
- Bring your IGNOU ID card and take a seat before the VIP arrives.
- You don’t need to bring anything else to the IGNOU campus except your ID card.
Who is eligible for the 37th IGNOU convocation?
All students who have completed their degree or diploma program in the December 2022 and June 2023 term end examinations are eligible to register for the convocation.
Where to attend the 37th IGNOU convocation?
Students can attend the convocation at the regional center where they enrolled for their course. If their regional center is not holding a convocation event, they can attend it at a nearby regional center. If they cannot attend the convocation, but have paid the registration fee, their degree certificate will be sent to them by post.

To register for the convocation, students need to visit the IGNOU website and click on the “Online Registration” link. They will need to enter their enrollment number and pay the registration fee.
Notice for non-registered candidates
If you missed the deadline to register for the convocation online, you can visit your regional center and submit a form with the registration fee of Rs. 600 to receive your degree certificate as soon as possible.

- The convocation fee for the 37th IGNOU convocation is Rs. 600 for master’s, bachelor’s, PhD, and diploma courses.
- PG certificate and certificate program students also have to pay a convocation fee of Rs. 200 per certificate.

Students can check the status of their convocation application 48 hours after submitting it.
IGNOU degree certificate not received
If you have not registered for the convocation, you will not receive your degree certificate.
If you missed the convocation deadline
You can still collect your degree certificate by submitting a form with the convocation fee of Rs. 600 to IGNOU Maidan Garhi. You can also submit the form in person at the IGNOU Head Office.
